Welcome to Exotic Mountains Trek. By choosing us for your Himalayan adventure, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please review them thoroughly to fully understand the commitments and provisions of your trek.
Booking and Payments
- Deposits: A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required at booking to secure your reservation.
- Final Payment: The remaining balance must be settled at least 30 days before the trek start date.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be notified in writing. If canceled more than 30 days before the trek, the deposit will be forfeited. Cancellations within 30 days result in a 50% charge of the total cost; less than 15 days, no refund.
Insurance
- Participants must have comprehensive travel insurance covering medical evacuation, hospital expenses, and high-altitude trekking up to 6,000 meters.
- Proof of insurance is required on arrival.
Liability
- Exotic Mountains Trek assumes no liability for personal injuries, death, or loss/damage to belongings.
- We are not responsible for itinerary changes due to external factors beyond our control, such as weather or political instability.
Itinerary Changes
- Exotic Mountains Trek reserves the right to modify treks as necessary for safety and optimal experience.
- Any added expenses due to such changes will be the client’s responsibility.
Personal Belongings
- Clients carry their belongings at their own risk. Exotic Mountains Trek is not liable for losses or damages.
Conduct
- Respect for local customs, natural environments, and fellow trekkers is mandatory.
- Disrespectful conduct may lead to expulsion from the trek without refund.
Acceptance of Risk
- Trekking involves risks such as adverse weather and wildlife encounters. By booking, clients accept these inherent risks.
Governing Law
- These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Disputes will be resolved under Nepalese jurisdiction.
Acknowledgment
- Booking a trek with Exotic Mountains Trek signifies your agreement to these terms.
