The Annapurna Circuit Trek is an 18-day guided journey across one of Nepal’s most varied Himalayan routes. The itinerary travels from the lower Marsyangdi Valley through Chame, Pisang and Manang, crosses Thorong La Pass at 5,416 m, then continues through Muktinath, Jomsom, Tatopani and Ghorepani before finishing with sunrise at Poon Hill.
This extended circuit combines subtropical valleys, pine forest, Tibetan-influenced villages, high alpine terrain, the Kali Gandaki corridor and panoramic views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu and surrounding peaks. A dedicated acclimatization day in Manang supports the gradual climb toward the pass.

The published route follows Kathmandu → Besisahar → Bhulbhule → Jagat → Dharapani → Chame → Pisang → Manang → Yak Kharka → Thorong Phedi → Thorong La → Muktinath → Jomsom → Kalopani → Tatopani → Ghorepani → Poon Hill → Pokhara → Kathmandu.
Walking distance varies because road construction, trail diversions, accommodation choices and optional vehicle sections change the exact route. For this extended itinerary, expect roughly 160–200 km of trekking and about 5–7 hours of walking on most trail days. Thorong La crossing day is longer and more demanding.
