When Should You Trek in the Everest Region?
Spring (March–May) usually brings warmer days and active climbing-season energy. Autumn (September–November) typically offers clearer post-monsoon skies and crisp mountain views. Both periods are popular, so lodge and flight availability can tighten in April and October.
Winter trekking is possible for prepared travelers, but colder temperatures, snow and shorter days can affect the route. Summer monsoon weather can disrupt visibility and flights. Mountain conditions vary every year, so build flexibility into your arrival and departure plans.
